About

A career built between research, enterprise and policy

Dr. CeeVee is an academic, serial entrepreneur and author based in Melbourne. She builds the evidence and the enterprises at the same time.

Portrait of Dr. CeeVee

Her work begins from a discomfort with how innovation is measured. Growth metrics reward speed and scale; they say almost nothing about who was excluded along the way. Across two decades she has built the instruments, the enterprises and the teaching to close that gap.

She holds an MBA and a PhD in Management from the School of Management Studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology, and a Master's in Psychology from the University of Madras. That pairing — enterprise strategy and human behaviour — runs through everything since: employability programmes for women, assessment frameworks for regenerative business, and now research on judgement in the age of artificial intelligence.

Her Fulbright-Nehru Postdoctoral Fellowship took her to Stanford University's Gendered Innovations Lab, where she developed the Regenerative Startup Assessment Framework under Prof. Londa Schiebinger. She has since taught executives at UC Berkeley's Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation and joined Monash Business School as a Senior Lecturer, teaching entrepreneurship, innovation, gender and sustainability.

Alongside the academic work she founded and leads SheSight Global and ShePower Club, is building Tulsy AI, and invests in founders solving for inclusion. Her recognitions include the UNCTAD Empretec Women in Business Award, the Landecker Democracy Fellowship, and selection to the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program.

“Innovation means nothing if it leaves people behind.”
